Maybe not to the extent of palm trees flourishing but I recall from earlier=
 days when I travelled extensively looking for birds=2C there was a guy mow=
ing his lawn on Cape Sable I. in February. Likely doing it for bragging rig=
hts but nevertheless....

Maybe because it is an El Nino year but I noticed the last two storms inclu=
ding today=2C Yarmouth and the Acadian actually got some winter. But remark=
ably I=92ve yet to see any accumulation of snow or ice on Cape Sable Island=
 on NovaSocotiaWebcams dot com. I suspect there must be hardy species of pa=
lm tree that could survive there.   		 	   		  =
