And the first B. impatiens showed up yesterday (Apr 30), along with some 
honey bees (first of the season). We've also been observing bee flies 
(Bombylius major).

Today it was the black fly's turn to appear (16+ degrees) -- annoying as 
usual, but not yet biting.
