Hi All,
Spotted my first American Kestrel of the spring - a male - this morning=
. It was hunting some ground based prey, probably rodents, from a dead tree=
in front of the house. There's not much open ground around here (maybe 5-1=
0%) so I expect the bird may hang around for some time. All the best.
