The ospreys have returned to the nesting pole at Hartlen Point. The eagles have not returned to the nest on Moses island (in Cow Bay Lake). As far as I can tell, they have had 3 consecutive failed breedings. Could this be the reason they are not returning, at least not for breeding? Henk Kwindt, Cow Bay, NS.
