Index of Subjects If there are no eagles near osprey nests, I will never mourn. Down here in the Banana Belt eagles are getting more common and ospreys less. The eagles have not returned to the nest on Moses island (in Cow Bay Lake). As far as I can tell, they have had 3 consecutive failed breedings.
