Dear All,
In decades past I have collected good dulse off Mill Creek Road=20
(west of Cape Blomidon) and may wish sometime to visit the dulse grounds=20
to see if they have recovered to 'normal'.
I suspect the good spring tide is past for this year but am getting=20
nowhere with online info; just confusing graphs. The old printed tide=20
tables somehow highlighted the summer spring tides so one could readily=20
find them.
To collect dulse on these beds one needs a maximum tidal range=20
during the growing season; after new growth is well underway and before=20
it becomes overgrazed.
Can anyone tell me how to zoom in on spring tide dates in tide=20
tables on the internet or are starting from dates of new and full moon=20
the slickest approach with these online tables ?
