* this is similar to what we've seen in eastern Ontario over the past 40
years - Gray Squirrels (most of ours are black) used to be restricted to
cities and Oak woods along the St Lawrence, but with the spread of bird
feeders, Oaks, and especially Black Walnuts, they're now ubiquitous.
