     I just saw an Otter bounding along the shore in front of the camp. I b=
elieve it might have had its sights set on the Mallard who was loafing ther=
e and took to flight just before I saw the Otter (or possibly this was just=
 coincidence). I haven=E2=80=99t seen one here for years but they are more =
elusive than beavers&#160; and probably been using the lake all along.=20
