Hi Jessica and John,

You were wise to check with us before attempting to answer this
email.

This is a 'phishing' attempt from someone using a webmail account
in Brunei. Chebucto would never issue an email asking for your userid
and password. This email is similar to one sent to Eastlink customers
recently and to Aliant customers a couple of years ago. They are sent
to customers of ISPs to find those few people who will innocently
believe that the emails originate with their ISPs and submit their
data, which is subsequently stolen and sold to spammers and identity
thieves who require working email accounts for their nefarious
purposes such as blanket spamming and denial of service attacks on
ISPs.

Our policy would be to contact you personally (in person or over
the phone) and once your identity has been verified, to deal with
anything that may require resetting your password, in the event you
forgot your password. We do not know or EVER want to know your
password. We issue temporary passwords to you when you first sign up
and then advise you that you should immediately change it to something
only you know, once you're able to do so. We never wish to know your
passwords after they have been changed. Any emails asking you for
your passwords are always fake.

Please feel free to contact us at any time for any questions you
may have pertaining to this and other inquiries regarding CCN's
service. Never tell anyone your passwords nor place them in a
email to us or anyone else.

Thank you,

Tony @ CCN Help
