Friends: A group of energetic university students are planning to clean-up the beach on Lawlor Island (next to McNabs in Halifax Harbour) on Friday afternoon June 21 from 12:00 - 4:30 PM. They will be leaving from the Government Wharf in Eastern Passage. Garbage bags, gloves, transportation & bottled water will be supplied by the Friends of McNabs Island with help from our sponsors that include: McNabs Island Ferry, Schooner Industrial Supplies, Sparkling Spring Water and Clean Nova Scotia.
