Bloomfield Centre Open House:
The Bloomfield Review Committee has recommended to the HRM Program & Services Review
Committee that the entire Bloomfield Centre be shut down, & the site disposed of. It is a
vital hub of the Bloomfield community must be saved. Along with other tenants of the
Centre, the Bloomfield Artists Collective is opening it's doors inviting you to discover
a vibrant part of your community and share with you our vision for maintaining and
improving the centre. The Bloomfield Artists Collective is located on the first floor of
the Commons Building , one of the three buildings which make up Bloomfield Centre. The
Collective is composed of 17 members working in textiles, photography, mixed media,
performance, installation, video, painting, and sculpture. We will be offering studio
tours, a group exhibit, and refreshments and are looking forward to seeing you there.
