WEDNESDAY NIGHT RACES ARE BACK ON CHECK THE SCHEDULE BELOW

Join the Halifax Hustlers Orienteering Club for a series of events in the Halifax area designed to introduce newcomers to orienteering. Ideal for beginners, these events offer easy terrain including fields, many trails, and open woods. Develop basic navigation skills while enjoying a pleasant evening of quick running or walking! First-time participants can receive a mini introduction to the sport of orienteering and a basic map and compass lesson.

Events will be held in various municipal parks in the Halifax Regional Municipality: Shubie, Fleming, Hemlock Ravine, and Point Pleasant Park.

As we head into the fall, the weather may be a little more uncertain. Accordingly, please telephone the Sport NS Office, 425-5450 ext. 325 to find out if Wednesday evening events will take place as scheduled. All weekend events will be held rain or shine.

The Rabbit Chase Orienteering Challenge
Is a four week series of races, that will begin Sept. 24, 2003 with prizes given out at the end. Need More Information

Intermediate / Individual: medium course, 60-90 minutes

Start Time: 6:00 p.m. (last start 6:30 p.m.)

Entry Fees: $5.00 per person
