We are a non-profit community based organization run by volunteers. A steering committee meets monthly with the director to guide and organize centre activities and programs, including the coordination of workshops. We have no operating budget but raise funds through special events, member donations and workshop fees. Subsidies are available to any woman in need - all our workshops are open to all women regardless of ability to pay. The Centre also maintains a members base. We seek membres that are representitve of our diverse community of women. Any Women can become a member of the Centre, have input into activities and receive our regular newsletters. The Ceentre is committed to activities that build community, including those which create a bridge between professional and community artists.
