All:

It would be good to know if the Ross's Goose and its Snow companions
have really gone - not on the visible fairways at 10:30, although 100+
Canadas were.

Couldn't find the "Audubon's Warbler among the dozen or so Myrtles at
Rainbow Haven near the change houses, etc., at Rainbow Haven Beach.Nor
could I find any sparrows on the dunes to the east. In the "old days"
one could always rely on the odd Ipswich or Savannah, and sometimes a
Nelson's Sparrow or two, and even the a Seaside Sparrow during 3 or 4
winters.

I hope someone keeps trying to photograph the Marsh Wren in the
cattails at easternmost corner of Porters Lake. A couple of distant
pics by Chris Pepper suggest it's not of the regionally nesting (near
the NB border) subspecies, but possibly from the US E. Coast farther
south.

At E. Passage, a Dovekie was flying back and forth over MacCormicks
Bch 3 times, before heading in-harbour. My first thought when I first
saw it weaving low over the grass was Tree Swallow!

On the playing field at Tufts Cove, I was surprised to see an adult
Peregrine Falcon sitting on the grass - nothing else on the field,
understandably. It took off a minute later.

Cheers, Ian
