Biography
Mike Mahoney


Mike Mahoney has worked for twenty-five years as cameraman, assistant director, production manager and producer with the National Film Board.

His production credits include the acclaimed feature film Justice Denied, and a number of films for the NFB Atlantic Center; Speak It! From the Heart of Black Nova Scotia, the Canada Award-winning look at the history of Nova Scotia's Black community; Thinking Positive, on the implication of the HIV epidemic on Canada's rural youth, and Taking Stock, on the collapse of the Atlantic fishery.

His co-producer credits include Peggy, In Service, Journey Into Darkness: The Bruce Curtis Story, Secret Nation, Buried on Sunday, Paint Cans, Anchor Zone, Cadillac Girls, Folk Art Found Me, Margaret's Museum and Song of Eskasoni.
