What to Bring: Yourselves and your kids, of course! Also bring a blanket to sit on (there are no picnic tables) and a picnic lunch.

Our 15 Minutes of Fame

• May 1996: modem-moms is the subject of a short TV feature (produced by Sue Newhook) broadcast by the local CBC news program, First Edition. Subsequently, the feature was picked up by CBC Newsworld and broadcast once or twice.

• October 1996 edition of Chatelaine magazine (the print version): Modem-moms gets a mention in their list of Canadian women's favourite places on the Internet.

• April 23, 1997 - The Halifax Herald publishes an article about modem-moms in its "Living Today" section. It also appears on the Herald web site. Here is the article, reposted with permission from the Halifax Herald. (I think this article was picked up by Vancouver Province a few weeks later.)
