At the June 16, 2004 public meeting, the trade of the Drew's Hill Road right-of-way (from the Province) in exchange for the sand spit (from the Himmelman estate) was presented to the Community as the position of the Himmelman estate.

The fact that the Committee was mandated by the community to develop other options indicated that this 'Himmelman offer' was not deemed acceptable.

Nonetheless, that offer remains 'on the table' for consideration.
