Workshops: Workshop Details

The Centre offers two levels of workshops, basic training and advanced workshops. The basic training workshops are taught by local producers and teach participants how to use the various kinds of equipment at the Centre. Each participant is then tested and clearance is granted. Specialized advanced technical and theoretical workshops are offered by local and visiting professionals in: script writing, digital editing, advanced A/B roll editing, advanced lighting, grant writing and other topics. All workshops are open to the public.

INCOMPLETE DISLOCATIONS://web projects by artists
The Incomplete Dislocations Project is a four month project coordinated by the Incomplete Dislocations Collective with the cooperation of the Centre for Art Tapes and Eye Level Gallery. Our goal is to encourage artists to produce interactive art and digital art for exhibition on the World Wide Web. We will do this by offering to artists: on-line computer access, {workshops} in how to make art for the web, artist presentations, and other activities to culminate in a late spring exhibition at Eye Level Gallery.

Instructors:

Each of the workshop instructors at the Centre for Art Tapes are recognized professionals. Feel free to contact an instructor to find out if a course is appropriate for you.
