 - A collection of related information in electronic form.

Filename:
                
 - The string of characters or symbols used to identify a
                 file. The old MS-DOS used to allow up to eleven (eight
                 for the name and a three-letter extension), but newer
                 systems allow for more.

Flash Drive:
                
 - A non-disc USB memory module that acts as does a hard
                 or floppy disc. It can be formatted and data stored on
                 it.
 
- 
Format:
                
 - As a verb: The process of preparing a disk or flash
                 drive to allow information storage.
 
                - As a noun: A particular method of organising 
                 information.  For example, date information may be
                 formatted as 2007-01-01, whicn is the IS0 standard.
