Machine Code:
                
 - The internal language of a computer.
                
 
- 
Macro:
                
 - A user-defined set of instructions used to perform
                 repetitive functions over and over again by using one
                 keystroke.
 
- 
Megabyte:
                
 - One million bytes.
 
- 
Memory:
                
 - The working and temporary storage area inside a
                 computer. There are three types of computer memory:
                 ROM (Read-Only Memory), RAM (Random Access
                 Memory), and Perpetual.

Menu:
                
 - A list of program options displayed on a monitor for
                 user selection. Employed as an alternative to direct
                 keyboard input, items are selected with a pointer device
                 or via the Cursor and Enter keys.

MFM:
                
 - Modified Frequency Modulation. An older hard
                 drive type.
 
- 
Modem:
                
 - MOdulator/DEModulator. An input and output
                 device that transmits information via a phone line to
                 other computers.

Monitor:
                
 - A television-like screen that displays information
                 and graphics.
 
- 
Motherboard:
                
 - The main circuit board of a computer.
 
- 
Mouse:
                
 - A hand-size input device derived from the trackball
                 Used mainly for graphics, it enters positional data into
                 a computer.
 
- 
MS-DOS:
                
 - Microsoft Disk Operating System. A computer
                 operating system that comes alone or as part of
                 most operating systems, or emulated by many systems.
 
- 
Multi-User Software:
                
 - Software that allows one or more users to 
                 simultaneously access and process data.
